With this acquisition, Sunna Design is defined to construct a special and sustainable platform for growth in the world market for smart and related stand-alone solar solutions.

Sunna Design, the technological leader for smart and connected standalone solar options, announces the purchase of SOL Inc., the pioneer and undisputed leader of solar light in North America. With this acquisition, Sunna Design strengthens its position in solar light, its core market, and further accelerates its growth.

The Solar Residential Market

The market for standalone solar solutions is currently valued at more than $6 billion and is predicted to grow at a CAGR of over 22 percent through to 2025.

This is driven by the rapid expansion of renewable energy and the growing demand for resilient and off-grid solutions.

Strategy for Integration and Growth between Acquired Solar Companies

Sunna Design‘s experience stems from a distinctive technological know-how encouraged by more than 14 patents, to which SOL‘s 9 patents have now been inserted. This technological lead translates into an ability to offer robust, dependable and durable solutions which stand out from the contest.

With this acquisition, Sunna Design today provides the most comprehensive and competitive portfolio of products and services on the current market, supported by a scalable supervision platform.

The agility of deploying all-in-one solutions combined with the flexibility of modular systems means the company is currently able to meet increased sizing and power range prerequisites, thus supporting all clients and partners on a larger variety of projects.

This exceptional value proposal can be represented through the most advanced portfolio of services available on the market, together with first-of-its-kind Solar Lighting”as a Service” (SLaaS) and maintenance contracts up to 20 years to guarantee the long-term operability of installments.

Acquiring SOL additionally allows Sunna Design to expand its network of partners, together with 75 agents and vendors supported by an expert and responsive regional sales team.

With this acquisition, Sunna Design is currently operating two complementary yet separate supply chains, one serving the North American marketplace, the other dedicated to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
