Florida ranks 3rd in the USA for solar panel potential but only 14th concerning rooftop solar panels installed. Many Floridians have hesitated due to the perceived cost of solar panel installation. All of that is changing because of state policy upgrades. In April of this year that the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) stated that a fixed 20-year rental is currently a legally allowable contract – and also whoever leases is legally permitted to use net metering.
This is a massive improvement for solar accessibility from the country because today homeowners who do not want to pay cash or take out a loan to own a solar system can go solar for $0 down, pay nothing for solar panels and setup, to lock at a lower rate than utility with all our PPA, states Brent Cotton, Vice President of Sales for Solar Energy World’s Tampa Office. We’re really excited about helping more homeowners run their houses on Florida’s plentiful sunshine.
Tampa Bay area residents can select between Solar Energy World’s exclusive $0 Down RateGuardian PPA/Lease (Electricity Purchase Agreement), which typically save homeowners 20-30% on electricity costs, and a solar loan if they would rather purchase. Homeowners who buy their systems may save as much as 100 percent on electricity costs and make profits from the excess electricity their solar panels with net metering.
